76 years old songwriter, producer and band leader Ike Turner died in his sleep Tuesday night in San Diego. He was one of the greatest songwriter of all time, he wroth the first rock n roll record. According to vibe, turner contribution to music made people see the other side of music. Later on he soon marry Tina Turner and the took the music world by surprise. After the marriage to Tina was over, Turner, recorded and toured behind new material, but never experienced the same level of success he'd enjoyed during the 1960s and '70s.

Ike Turner was one of the greatest songwriter of all time and his death is a great tragedy. He has given so much to music and he will never be for gotten. Although his marriage to Tina was fill with domestic violence, which never interfere with his music. Ike found a way to work around it and still be this great man that we knew him to be. May his soul rest in peace.

American gangster.

I saw American gangster for the first time yesterday. It was what I expected it to be and more. Denzel Washington is a legend and always will be. The movie had a rush about it that drew me in and I wanted to see more when it was finish. The movie was based around a gangster called Frank Lucas and how he was on of the most influential gangster in that time period and how he took the drug world by suspires. This is one of Denzel’s best works and it shows because he is nominated for best actor in a Motion Picture drama. This movie is by far one of the best movies of 2007.

RESPONES TO CARRYPASSION BLOG

13 years old Megan Meier killed herself after reserving a mean messages from a person on myspace. Megan and her mother had a argument about the messages that she was reserving from a person called josh before she committed suicide. In the message the person said "I don't know if I want to be friends with you any longer because I hear you're not nice to your friends." Later on they found out that josh didn't exist and his profile on myspace was made by a neighborhood family. Accruing to the family it was all a prank, they wonted to see if Megan would say bad things about their daughter.

This article is very interesting because almost every teen in the United State has a myspace and for this to happen its very sad because myspace is a place to meet friends and play around. I think the family should be held responsible for what happen to Megan because you never know how a person might take things. The family should know batter, if their daughter and Megan had problems, being the adults they should have talked to Megan mother about it. By playing a prank like that, they went too far..

Is the beginning of the...

Is the beginning of the end for the fill semester. you don't know how happy this makes me, I never though it will end, we all need a vacation from school. I would love to be stress free for a whole month. One thing i just cant got out of is finals. I am trying not to let the stress get the best of me but, i feel like i am going to break in a minute. Managing my time is a very big problem for me and up to now i still have not learned that skill, i need to because it might come handy in the future.

BACK AT WORK

I remember posting a blog about my search for a job. After four mouths I finally found one. Last summer I worked at this store called “Lot Store” for nine mouths. When school started I was too busy and that really miss up my work schedule. After a while the manger had to lay me off because he needed me to work more hours but I couldn't’t. After that I had no luck what so ever finding a job. Now the manger wants me to go back. I was so happy when my mother came and told me. She talked to him about me and convinced him to give me a job. I hate working but I need the money now more then ever. So I have no choice but to go to work tomorrow.

Kayne west mother death was a big shocker for me and it’s a tragedy because west mother is his life. She made Kayne who he is at this present moment. West main focus is building a better life for his mother and making sure that she never have to work as long as she live. To lose her like that is heart breaking and he will never be the same as far as music. A while back I posted a blog called “Music Today”, it was about real artist and the impacted they have on their fans and west video was feature in my post. He’s a great artist when he rap it’s from experience and I hope his mother death don’t cause him to gave up on his music. May her soul rest in prefect peace.

For the fast two months...

For the fast two months I found myself really stress out. Every time I think about all the work I have to do I become more stress. At night I don’t get enough sleep which causes me to lose focus in class. The transformation from high school to college is really taking toil on me and I don’t know what to do about it. I try talking to my mother but the only question she asks is how your grades are? I don’t feel comfortable baring my soul to people that I am not for miller with so I try to talk to my family members as much as possible. But it don't always work out as i plan so i move on to plan B.

RESPONSE TO MONIQUE BLOG

For years i felt that talking to my parents was a wist of my breath because they never seem to understand what i was going though. When i try to tell them the truth, they assume i am lying or hiding something. It came a time my parents and i stop talking because they never took the time off to really listen to what i had to say. But believe it or not, Everything change when i graduated from high school, my parents became more supportive and i felt comfortable talking to them about anything. Up to this day my parents and i are really close and i plan to keep it that way.

all girls school

The article i read was about how a arrest was made in Oprah all girls school in South Africa, it was dealing with an abuse case. Accruing to the article the suspect was soliciting the students to perform indecent acts and also they where physical abuse. Oprah said that she was very shock and she took a trip to the school which is located in South Africa. The article later talked about how Oprah felt like she disappointed the girls and their families. The case is still under investigation because Oprah wont's to know what is real and what isn't. The girls families are very disturb about this situation and hoping that something like this never happen again. Oprah stated that the school is very important to the girls and she wont them to feel safe when they walk into the school.

Oprah is a great role model and the school she has created in South Africa is behind successful. Because of her 152 African girls can pursued their dream of getting the very best education. For something like this to happen, i find it very shocking because why would a person wont to abuse litter kids. It makes things hard on the girls that attend the school, they might not feel safe when in the school. With all that is going on in South Africa why not come together and come up with a way to better the school, instead of hurting abuse litter girls. When people in The United State look at this situation it become more difficult for them to make donation in Africa because they feel nothing good is going to come out of it.

NO PARTY FOR US!

Yesterday my cousin's and i went to New York, for some party. At first i was not that interested in going because i had a cold. So i told them to go without me, like one minute later i had five people calling to persuade me to go. How can i say no, my cousin had everything planed, she called the club early, to get us on the guest list. When we got to the club she told the lady at the door our names. She took a long look at the list, and guest what our names where not on it. That is crazy right, Up till now i am still mad because my cold got worst.
